skilled Workers arrival Database for employment support (sWaDes) was launched by goi with the aim of mapping skills of overseas returning citizens through Vande Bharat Mission. under sWaDes, a database of qualified citizens is created based on their skills and experience to tap into and fulfil demand of indian and foreign companies.
Female placement rate is higher than for males in 13 of the top 15 states (which account for 86% of trainings)

nsDc joined hands with internshala to offer an e-platform, provisioning work-from-home internship opportunities for school students pursuing vocational education. the pilot has been rolled out in 8 states: Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and goa.
