CURRENT DESIGN STATUS
• Roadway plans for I-95 north segment (segment 2A) complete
• 90% roadway plans for SR 836 and I-395
• Roadway plans for NE 13th Street complete
• Phase I TCP plans complete for I-95, I-395 and SR-836
• 60% signature bridge plans
• TCP generic plans and detour routes complete
OVERALL DESIGN STATUS
• Roadway - 80% • Structures – 45% • Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) – 50%

• Construction of foundations for new overhead sign structures. This work will require

• Begin concrete pavement replacement – Grading operations ongoing, concrete
placement expected to begin end of June

one lane for approximately four years. • The travel lane and shoulder widths on northbound I-95 ramp to eastbound I-395
will be reduced. Will require nighttime closures at times• Traffic shift to the south on I-395 eastbound from I-95 to NW 1 Avenue

• Weekend lane closures will be permitted on I-95 from 11 p.m. on Friday to 5:30 a.m. on Monday• The contract documents allows for weekend closures on certain ramps

travel information;
• Encourage motorists to take
alternate routes;
• Clear incidents more quickly,
thereby reducing secondary
incidents; and
• Make work zones safer for
highway workers and motorists.

System (SWZMS) - The project will

Intelligent Transportation System
(ITS) Devices such as traffic
cameras, data collection devices
