Their pre-planning and aenon to detail has been fantasc. I see the temperature, predicted a month ago for Thursday, as being 35 degrees has fallen into line and is now predicted at 27 degrees, unlike every other day this week which will be above 30. Not even mother nature mucks around with a Morgie Fete it would seem. I did noce that in my leerbox there was a power outage noficaon planned for Fete day – hopefully works will finish well before our Fete begins at 5pm. Talking to the students they’re excited. Even many community members say they will be aending. 1F have really been enjoying our science unit ‘Spot The Difference’

where they have done some experiments and observed how and why

things change such as spaghetti, chocolate and popcorn.

Unfortunately we couldn't eat the chocolate and popcorn and didn't

want to eat the spaghetti.

After our observations we used the cooked spaghetti to make a

collage and built towers out of the uncooked spaghetti and

marshmallows. This was really hard but fun. In this science unit we

have teams and we take turns at having special responsibilities.

Fete Raffle Tickets K-6 Returned by Thursday 22nd October

SAVE YOUR BREAD TAGS!

Hi all,

I'm wondering if any of you may be able to help

our class with a challenge.

We are collecting bread tags to send to a school in Karratha.

They have been looking at big numbers and set themselves a

challenge to collect 1 million bread tags. They're not sure if

they'll reach their target by the end of the year but we

thought we'd give them a hand to try!

If you have any bread tags (or anyone in your class would

like to bring in some bread tags) we will be collecting for the

next 2 weeks before we send them off.

Even if you only have 1 tag, you'll be helping reach the goal!

Thanks :)
