MOSEM ‘13

MOSEM – Macedonian Open Seminar for Education and Motivation is an annual conference created in order to provide development

on all stages for the membership of AIESEC. Here we strive to make the first steps of offering a qualitative experience for all members align with the national goals and plans.

Through these exciting 4 days,

- new members are given the opportunity to strengthen their AIESEC knowledge and get to know the organization on deeper level and also to

explore the endless pool of possibilities that lies in front of them,

- old members have the chance to further expand their view for AIESEC as an organization and to canalize their

potential towards the leadership opportunities that are offered through the medium of AIESEC, and

- the Executive Boards will be updated regarding the global initiatives and plans, get to know the flow of activities within the global network, and will be provided with the

tools for their effective work in alignment with the national MoSs.

MOSEM is a conference of great importance for AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia as a first stepping stone to the

achievement of the national goals, and with that to have our fair contribution towards achieving AIESEC 2015.

5.Agenda

Ohrid is the sublime lakeside point that for many represents the culmination of the Macedonian experience, a repository of ancientruins from Macedonia’s earlier kingdoms. Ohrid is known for its remarkable architecture that can be found in the Old Town. The legend says it has 365 churches one for each day of the year and has been referred to as the Jerusalem of the Balkans. Ohrid’s major attractions are all located within a remarkably concentrated and eminently walkable area,among and abovethe narrow streets of the Old Town lined with restaurants and cafés perfectly suited for relaxing. The uniqueness of Lake Ohrid and the city’s historical architecture has been attested by UNESCO, honoring it with an official designation as one of the few places on the cultural institution’s list “World Inheritance”.

6. Venue

Hotel Daljan is situated around 2 kilometers from the city of Ohrid,on the very coast of Lake Ohrid. Its charming and quiet

surroundings are fit for everyones taste. All of the rooms are carefully decoratedand equipped,with balconys and view of the lake.
