Senior Brunch, the Place to be Seen!
When an event pulls together multiple generations for a morning of sharing and joy, it is one to be repeated and celebrated! This year’s senior brunch was no exception!
The hard work of MYC’s board members, Ann Marie Bain and Katie Michols, was appreciated by all in attendance. They also wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped with this year's senior brunch! We hosted close to 70 seniors for a lovely brunch, and we could not have done it without everyone who baked and/or helped the day of the day of the brunch. The seniors had a wonderful time, and they were so grateful too. Also, thank you to the donations of our sponsors - The Liberty Restaurant, Trader Joe's, Wildberry, Mariano's, Libertyville Florist, and Sunset Foods.

Bi-Monthly Meeting Programs Please join us on Thursday, April 7th where we will have a special double feature dedicated to spring
reorganizing and refurbishing! We are excited to welcome back Jennifer Barnes from JB Organizing. Jennifer is the mother of 5
children ages 12 to 17. She is also the mother of twins. Jennifer began her career as a Professional
Organizer and Speaker 18 years ago with the creation of JB Organizing (www.jborganizing.com).
She will be sharing some ideas about spring cleaning and how to include your children in
organizing your home. We will also be welcoming our very own MYC
member Erin Kahn who will share some of her tips and tricks for finding and refurbishing unique pieces of furniture to fill that perfect spot you just cleaned!
Get ready for spring and join us for our one and only April meeting.
Our meetings begin at 9:15 a.m. at the St. Joseph Formation Center, located at 112 N. Milwaukee Ave. Parking and entry is through the rear of the building. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Babysitting will be available for the little
ones: $6/one child or $8/two or more. We know meetings coincide with school drop offs
and pick ups so please feel free to come and go as needed.

Babies and toddlers welcome. (Maria has a 2 year old and 10 month old.) Please RSVP on Big Tent with how many kids you are bringing as space is

Charity Events for April
2015-2016 MYC Food Pantry Goal Let’s Make April and May Count!
Each year MYC members work to collect items for the local food pantry. We have a goal for 2015-2016 to collect 500 food pantry items by the end of May 2016.
YES, YOU CAN HELP MEET THE 2016 GOAL!
If you bring new and nonperishable items for donation to any MYC event they will be counted towards the MYC goal and delivered to the food pantry by the Charity board members, Beth Dries, Kari Grindel and Jill Procop.

Mass for the Innocents Each year the Bereavement Ministry sponsors a Mass to remember and honor children of all ages who have died. Their passing may have been recent or long ago. It could have been due to illness, accident, premature birth or abortion; whatever the reason. This year the mass will be held on April 5. This Mass is open to all. Thank you, Debbie Larker, Bereavement Minister
