Motion sensing trigerred camera are systems that can take pictures of living things automatically without the need of an operator.

It can be used for various purposes such as 1. security purpose 2. Wild life photography 3. Baby monitoring 4. In mental hospitals

The device uses an infrared sensor,camera,transmitter,

receiver,microcontroller and a GSM modem. The basic principle of the device is associated with the PIR sensor which reacts to anything that has temperature different from the ambient.

Initially we collected information from internet. After collecting various ideas we decided to do a project called CAMERA TRAP which we found the website of IISC . A camera trap is an automatic camera basically used for wild life photography . It uses a PIR(passive infrared sensor) sensor which reacts to any moving object having a temperature different from ambience. But we never wanted a readymade project so we decided to introduce some additional features in this device. After thinking a lot we introduced the use of GSM modem in our project to make it more sophisticated. The use of GSM modem makes the device more controllable and moreover it helps in saving the memory and power.With the help of it we can turn ON and OFF the device at any point of time.

* BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION

*User sends a message start to PIC

*PIR sensor detects motion

* If motion detected PIC turns on camera and sends a message to user

*Camera captures video

*Transmitter transmits the data

*Receiver receives the data and sends this data to PC or lap top

*PC displays the captured video
