Reflective Retreat

spring

As nature so faithfully reminds us, Spring is a time of awakening.

Trees that have been stripped bare all winter, burst forth with new buds, seemingly overnight. Bulbs push up through the earth and declare new life. Many of us desire that same kind of awakening in the life of our spirit.

You are invited to come away to Mount Hermon, this spring, to prepare the soil of your heart for His coming. A menu of retreats with different formats and locations are offered to meet your personal needs. Each conference includes six meals and two nights lodging.

Jayne has been involved with Mount Hermon’s Women’s Retreat ministry since 1980. Through

Gospel centered speaking and teaching she encourages women to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to Him.

Robin is the former director of Ponderosa Lodge. She is involved in ministry with her husband

Paul at Twin Lakes Church in Santa Cruz and is currently homeschooling her three daughters.

Cari has a love for people and Jesus that shapes her life and is infectious. She is passionate about bringing

people to Jesus to find rest. As the founder of a ministry that connects individuals and groups with the true rest found in Jesus, she is able to use her gifts of hospitality and encouragement to reach marginalized and hurting people from all walks of life.

This all-female worship band sprung up just over a year ago under the leadership of Stephanie Wesley. While musicians vary from time to time, their sound & purpose remain constant. Their deepest desire is to draw women into an intimate time of worship, reflection, and total surrender to God’s presence and work in their lives.

As a writer and speaker, Sally’s passion is to help awaken in others the heart courage to discover life changing

mercy and the love of God for themselves. She has worked alongside her husband Steve for the last 35 years, leading churches in the United States and Canada and ministering to leaders in other countries. She has written several books including “Choosing Rest” and “The Shame Exchange”.

Authentic. Fresh. Organic. Artistic. Accessible.  Elizabeth’s music, best described as acoustic-folk-

pop, has a personal feel, as if she’s singing entries from her journal. Over the last few years, she has shared the stage with talented artists like David Crowder Band, Mat Kearney, and Sara Groves. She is currently working on a new album, Beautiful Love, which is to be released in March.

Mount Hermon’s Spring Reflective Retreat is a time to focus on your walk with Jesus. A time to listen for His still small

voice of awakening. The Reflective weekends differ from Mount Hermon’s other women’s conferences. There will be several short sessions around the theme of Blessed . . . and then you will be released to spend a quantity of time alone, listening to Jesus, with some materials that will be prepared for you.

This retreat is located at the Conference Center. The Conference Center offers several housing options to meet your needs from private lodge rooms to cabins for groups.

Can You Hear the Story? Our lives really do have a story to tell. This weekend provides an opportunity to discover the message

God wants to speak through your life to this world. You’ll begin to see that God has woven purpose and meaning into the ordinary fabric of your life. The result? As you hear the story of your own life, new hope and confidence will emerge.

We are excited to offer a Spring Retreat weekend during this season at the Conference Center. The Conference Center offers several housing options to meet your needs from private lodge rooms to cabins for groups.

Jesus is Enough. In life we face many challenges, heart aches, unmet desires and disappointments. In the midst of these Jesus meets us in

intimate ways, reminding us that in all things, He is enough. Come to Jesus. He will give your soul rest. Whether you come with a few friends or as a larger church group, this weekend has the flexibility to meet your needs.

Ponderosa Lodge is an award winning facility providing self-contained cabins, each sleeping 8 women. The cabins are nestled into communities under the trees providing a terrific setting for small groups and individuals to experience God’s creation.

See our website for seminar information and a sample schedule.
