A native of Laurens S C Mr Darnell was organizer of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in 1939 and had served as its pastor since that time He was a son of the late Jesse and Mary Gillespie Darnell
Surviving are his wife Mrs

The body will be taken from Walkers Funeral Home to the residence at 521 N Charles St Ext late this afternoon to reshymain until taken to the church to lie in state one hour prior to the service I
