I choose this article because education is the most controversial and important thing for everyone in this world. Some of them think that studied in public school is very helpful for them to get a better job. In the other hand they think that in the public school they just wasting their time and money, because how high they have studied in school, their job as same as people who didn’t school.

4. Explain briefly in four or five sentences what the article is about.This article is talking about the controversial sight of public school when it is not help

anyone get more education but a wasteland, some of people think that public school just wasting their time and money because they still can’t have better job for their future. In perfect world, each person have unlimited access to education, but, in fact, especially in Indonesia didn’t it. In Indonesia, the number of illiterate, student who dropped out of school and unemployment was so high. The high education didn’t guarantee someone get the good job, like author give example. Education in Indonesia had complex problem for example public schools poor facility and teachers are incompetent and not have the credentials to teach their particular subjects. The government especially the National Education Ministry must change the curriculum of education in Indonesia.

5. What is the writer’s message or purpose in writing this article?The writer’s wants to show us the education or public school condition in our country in

this time. Although the government have told us to get an education for a better future, in the fact, some of them have a different think about it. They have their own decision about it.

6. Give your personal comment on the article as a conclusion of your article review.This is good article. From this article, I know that education in Indonesia still in less,

rather poor than another near neighboring country such as Malaysia and Singapore. In my opinion, education still important for us, not only children but also adults need it. Education not only for get a better job with a lot of money, just have a positive thinking that it give us more experience, teach us a lot of think and more useful for us.
