University VACATION

Vacation --- Woo-hoo!!! Please Mark Your calendar:

Starting December 24th students are out until January 2nd

I have gotten the okay to reschedule any seminars done on December 22 and 23 or give full credit – Merry Christmas because you will be getting full credit! Woo-hoo!

University VACATION What does it mean…

ALL Assignments/Projects/Exercises will still be due on January 5th

Students will still be required to post to the Discussion Board for weeks 3 by January 4th

Don’t have to post by Saturday, just post by Tuesday 1/4/11 in order to get credit

Students will have access to their courses during the Winter break and can post at any time

Capitalize x-ray only when it is the first word in a sentence.

Avoid using the prefix re- with x-ray. Recast the sentence to avoid this usage. We are going to x-ray her

again. Plain vs. plane films: The correct

term is plain which refers to an x-ray that has been done without contrast. It is not a reference to a directional plane or surface. Plain film of the abdomen

was negative.
