100th Day Celebration: WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP:

Carie is and we will need parent volunteers during the week of FEBRUARY 6TH Dear Parents: This week has been a week of reminders about behaviors like listening, sharing, using kind words. Whether it was the barometric pressure or the rain or just the time of year….we had a very energized week. the kids it’s like having a tasting bite – and read them a book about manners. VALENTINE’S DAY will be celebrated in class, hopefully like this: Have your child come to school with a valentine for every student in the class (List below). We’ll distribute valentine’s day cards on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 morning to everyone in our class. Art: We skipped art this week to attend a performance of THE HARE AND THE TORTOISE, brought to us from the Marin Theatre Company.

Science: This week seemed like another great week to continue a unit on the senses! We have TOUCHED, this week, and discussed how all the senses work together to keep us AWARE! Language Arts: We are working on WORD FAMILIES (words that end –ap, -at, -an, -ad…..) and segmenting and blending the beginning sound, and the ending sound, as a chunk (R –an, C-an,) Thank you for letting us teach your children!
