Our U.S . excursion dates have now been finalized and I am writing
to tell you about th latest stage of our preparations.
We shall be in New York from 15 - 22 September 19?.9. As we mentioned before, we are very, very interested in meeting you for a discussion,
and would be extremely pleased if you could give us· an ·appointment
with you sometime during this week. Please let us know if these
dates are impossible for you a~ 'soon as possible. We shall then
make any necessary rearrangements.
If we do not hear from you again before we leave for the USA, we
shall assume that the suggested dates are convenient and will call
you on Monday , 17th September to make a final date - if that is
allright.
We should also like to avail ourselves of your kind offer of
assistanee and ask you for a small favour: Our primary interest
in connection with this excursion to the USA is. the background
to 'the production of "Holocaust". It would be of great service to
us if you could arrange contacts to other persons whom we should
also like to interview. In particular, we were thinking of the
producers Herbert Brodkin and Robert Berger, the director Marvin
Chomsky, the .author Gerald Green and Mr • . Paul. Klein ·o·f NBC . We have
already written to these gentlemen, through the very kind mediation
of Titus Productions, but have had as. yet no ~eply .
