Welcome and Announcements
*Choral Call to Worship “And God Will Raise You Up”
And God will raise you up on eagle’s wings,
bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun,
and hold you in the palm of God’s hand.
*Call to Worship:
One: Rejoice with me, people of God.
All: God has gathered us in from the wilderness.
One: Rejoice with me people of God.
All: God has swept away the darkness of the night. One: Rejoice with me people of God.
All: Today, there is joy in the presence of the angels.
Opening Hymn #487 (GH) “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”
Strings of Hope
Call to Confession (in unison)
Gracious God, you know our sin: We have squandered the gifts you have
given us.
We have failed to forgive our debtors as you have forgiven us. We have been
unfaithful and dishonest in small things and great things alike. We are shrewd
in seeking wealth and foolish in following your way.
Forgive our sins, O Lord, for your name’s sake. Make us faithful stewards of
the grace you have given and generous in forgiving others; through Jesus
Christ or Lord. Amen.
Declaration of Forgiveness
Children’s Time
(Children ages 0-4 years old are welcome in the nursery.)
Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer
(In unison) Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom
come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into
temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom and the power
and glory forever and ever, Amen.
Anthem “Lamb of God”
Scripture Reading Luke 16:1-13
Response to Scripture “Make Us One,
Lord” Make us one, Lord, make us one; Holy Spirit make us one.
Let your love flow so the world will know we are one in you.
Make us one.
Sermon “Christian Accounting 101” Pastor Kristin

Musical Offering “Someone Made the Sandals Jesus Wore”
