    Bonnie Blue Flag - This flag was first used for the Republic of West Florida

    (A republic that with held people who resisted Spanish rule). It became the unofficial

    flag for the South for a short while.

    Confederate Flag - A rectangular version of the Battle Flag. This was used

    by some of the troops.

    The Fort Sumter Flag 1861 - This is a 33-star garrison flag that was flyingover Fort Sumter when the first shots of the war were fired. To this day, the Army uses

    a Diamond pattern for the stars on their garrison flags.

    United States of America Flag (1861-1863) - Also known as the 34-star flag

    (because of Kansas joining the union in 1861), Abraham Lincoln was the only

    President to serve under this flag.

    The 34-Star Great Flower Design (1861-1863) - This design contains a star

    with five asymmetrical points. It is not known who created the design, or where it was

    used.

    The 34-Star Cluster Design This was referred to as the Great Cross flag,

    because the clusters and the singular stars create a cross shaped pattern.

    United States of America 34-Star Round Design (1861-1863) These

    national presentation colors were manufactured by the Evans & Hassall Company of

    Philadelphia for all the Union New Jersey regiments after 1863.

    United States of America (1863-1865) This became our nation's flag whenWest Virginia separated from Virginia and became part of the Union.

    The 34-Star Union Naval Jack - This is the ensign used on all naval vessels.

    Union Calvary Guidon - This was carried by calvary men and led the troops.

    It was usually customized with something unique to each troop.
