O Read your chosen article carefully and completely to yourself.

O Highlight or circle the 10 most important words in the article.

Group Roles

1. Recorder (you will write the group’s response)

2. Organizer (you will keep track of the group’s top 30 words)

3. Speaker (you will read the group’s finished product to the class)

Group Procedure O The group will now write a

summary describing cerebral palsy using the most important words. O The organizer keeps track of the

thirty words (don’t worry about doubles)

O The recorder writes down the summary

O The speaker will share the finished product with the class.
