Middle East Operation And Maintenance for Hydrocarbon Industries ( MIDOM ) (Egyptian linear alkyl benzene Petrochemical Project) E-LAB , Alexandria, Egypt.

Title: Shift Operation Engineer, (Front-End section). YOKOGAWA (CS 3000 Centum R3.8) DCS.

The LAB complex is designed to produce 100,000 MTA of Linear Alkyl Benzene. The main feedstock for the LAB Plant is kerosene/Jet A1 and refinery reformate. UOP technology and ED SHELL Sulfolane technology have been chosen for ELAB complex. The complex consists of eight production units arranged in three main sections. The Front-End Section involves the following units:

Key responsibilities & tasks:

Work in the operation management as operation engineer. Responsible for supervising shift operations including safe start-up and shutdown operations

throughYOKOGAWA (CS 3000 Centum R3.8) DCS. Responsible for isolate the equipment from the operation circuit for maintenance activities

and put it again for its place by safety manner. Responsible for providing direct engineering support to operations and assists with process

trouble shooting and process improvement. Responsible for improving the performance of my unit by studying the operation problems

and find the solutions to overcome such operation troubles. Responsible for operation instructions, controlling the operation conditions across two shifts. Responsible for the management of all operations in the plant besides normal work days

assists with classroom development of operations staff including conducting performance reviews on the D.C.S. and reviewing safety and emergency procedures.
