EThursday 30 MayAs the starting point of the day various subjects relevant to the company visits will be presented.

After the presentations we will visit the companies of Danish Crown, Hamlet Protein A/S, Hatting KS, and AP Company, all of which are international com-panies. Additionally, SoleGruppen, which is related to the fur industry, offers you the opportunity to get acquainted with an industry which shares the same challenges on animal welfare as does the pig industry.

During the last part of the afternoon you will have the chance to look into the future pig housing.

To complete the day a barbeque party will be thrown at Bygholm Agricultural College.

friday 31 MayFriday is the day where visits in pig productions will be the main activity. Before leaving for the pig productions short presentations will take place that are related to the visits and things we will see at those sites.

We have emphasized the importance of all participants getting access to the production facilities in order to get a thorough insight into how Danish pig production is carried out.

Traditionally, a gala dinner marks the end of the congress and this year it will take place at Torvehallerne in Vejle.
