SPECIAL NOTICE YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE

City Council is seeking applications for a YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE whieh was established recent­ly to consider problem.s., coneerns. issues, and matters of interest particular to children and youth, and their fam­ilies. CGDSiderationa of the committee shall include, but not be limited to, legislation. recreational and other sen·ice needs. and police-youth relations. The commit­tee will serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council.

• The Youth Advisory Committee will consist of 7-9 members, consisting of 5-7 youth mem­bers and two adult members.

• The youth members shall be no older than 18 years of age at the time of appointment or r~ppointment.

• The two adult members shall not hold any officer positions on the committee.
