NAAHAC is an issue-driven, action-oriented voluntary working group comprised of participants employed by North American Automotive companies and their key suppliers, whose purpose is to consider and respond to the vital hazardous materials and dangerous goods issues of its membership. Having the safe transport of automotive industry products as its primary focus, NAAHAC leverages its combined vehicle component and regulatory expertise to examine pending and current hazmat regulations and develop concise, informed responses by the members for submission to the appropriate regulatory entities. NAAHAC desires to educate regulators and propose realistic solutions to hazmat transportation issues impacting global commerce.
