BRIEF PROFILE:
Associate professor in Information technology with over 15 years experience working in the ICT
industry as a technical institute instructor, University lecturer, researcher and administrator in ICT. A
seasoned academician and researcher in information technology with extensive research experience in
IT security and audit where I have participated in: design of a risk exposure index for SMEs in Kenya,
development of a threat matrix for smart devices in a Campus LAN, adoptability model for digital
evidence. Member of ISACA, internet society Kenya chapter and ITU-T focus group on Digital
currency including Digital Fiat Currency (FG DFC). Current research in ICT include: designing a Risk
Appetite model for organizations, Information Compliance Metric for Cyber laws among others
