The I-MBA-I-SEM and II-MBA-III-SEM students had opportunity of two hours guidance

program Career awareness on careers in investment banking by CA.Praveenkumar,

Managing Director, and PLANET FINANCE Hyderabad, held on 15-11-2019 in PG. Seminar

hall. Speaker excellent information gave to the students about stock markets and highlighted the

opportunities in banking and various sectors. And also explained that how we can make planning

for investments to get high earnings. The session was concluded by showing an inspirational

video. Totally 70 students were attended.

Career guidance program on “CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AFTER B.Tech “for Final Year

students on 26/10/2019 by CH. JASWANT from NTTF, Bangalore

Mr.B.V.Krishnaiah, Head of the department has organized this program with the

coordinator Mr.M.Mallikarjuna, Assistant Professor in ME Department and the program was

conducted in Mechanical Seminar Hall.

Primary purpose of this program is to get idea of student’s career selection after B.Tech ,

on which specialization they want to choose. The speaker has given detailed theory to help

students in their future Higher Education opportunities.

The total program successfully completed by boosting the confidence levels of each and

every student in his future endeavors in seeking PG Course, and with the cooperation of each and

the “Importance of GATE “on 25-09-2019.The resource person for the program was

Mr.Thirunath,Faculty from ACE Engineering academy, Hyderabad.

The resource person addressed the students about the importance of writing GATE exam, and

important subjects to be prepared to qualify GATE exam. Students were also informed that

qualifying in GATE exam is not just to go for post graduates studies it makes them eligible for

various public and private sector jobs.

Banking sector “on 15th Feb 2020 by Mrs.R.Bhargavi Prasad, Business developer, ICICI

Bank Gudur. Resource person has been introduced by the HOD Dr.P. Venkateswara

Rao. HOD had addressed the students on significance of this program. Mrs.R.Bhargavi

Prasad has explained the importance of banking sector provides an excellent

opportunity to for aspirants.

The main objective of this awareness program was to familiarize participants

with public sector banks, professionals like engineers, doctors, MBAs and lawyers are

appointed based on the results in All India Recruitment Exam. Probationary officers

(Bank PO) are also recruited in public sector banks based on the Common Written

Examination. The programme also aimed to teach participants commercial banks is to

enable businesses and entrepreneurs with the financial services. Most of these banks

offer better packages today and give a performance and experience based promotion,

other opportunities available in banking sector are financial managers, Bill and

account collectors, bank tellers, loan officers, financial service representatives, book

keeping and audit clerks etc

The resource person addressed the students about the importance of Government jobs, writing

Competitive exams, features and important subjects to be prepared to qualify the exams. The resource

person shared bulk information on the nature of exam, exam pattern, syllabus and the important dates of

released notifications.
