ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA), OFFICE OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (ORD)EPA’s Mission—To Protect Human Health and the Environment.
The research programs at the EPA’s Office of Research and Development coordinate research planning to address EPA’s science needs to protect the environment and public health. The ORD research reduces uncertainties in environmental decision making and helps develop cost-effective strategies to reduce risk.
