On 15 January 2021, moderate to heavy rainfall experienced in

Sultan Sa Barongis, Maguindanao resulting rise of water level of

Kapingong and Ala River affecting 12 barangays. A total of 4,741

families were affected.

Pagalungan 11 barangays 15 January 2021, 3:00 PM

On 3:00 PM, 15 January 2021, moderate to heavy rainfall

experienced in Pagaluan, Maguindanao which resulted to flooding

affecting 12 barangays. A total of 7,000 families were affected.

Datu Montawal 10 barangays 17 January 2021

On 17 January 2021, moderate to heavy rainfall experienced in

Datu Montawal which resulted to flooding affecting 10 barangays.

A total of 4,827 families were affected.

Omar Barangays Capual and Angalian 13 January 2021, 5:00 PM

On 5:00 PM, 13 January 2021, strong winds affected two (2)

barangays in Omar, Sulu. A total of 35 houses made of light

materials were reported totally damaged due to the incident and

affecting 128 families. LDRRMO have relocated the affected

families 70-100 meters away from their residential areas.

JoloBarangays Asturia, Tulay, Chinese Pier,

Takot-takot, Alat, and Bus-bus17 January 2021

On 8:00 PM, 13 January 2021, moderate to heavy rains

associated with strong winds were experienced in six (6)

barangays of Jolo, Sulu. Said barangays were reported flooded

and multiple houses mafe of light materials in the coastal areas

were damaged. As of 7:00 AM, 18 January 2021, flood waters

reported subsided and ongoing assessment/verification is being

conducted by the LDRRMC.

On 18 January 2021, moderate to heavy rains associated with

strong winds were experienced in three (3) barangays of Patikul

Sulu. A total of 29 families / 165 individuals were affected due to

Bongao Sitio Tongkalang, Barangay Sanga-Sanga 12 January 2021

On 12 January 2021, strong winds/big waves were experienced

in Sitio Tongkalang, Barangay Sanga-Sanga resulting to a total of

7 houses (6 -totally and 1 partially) and 1 sea wall were damaged

due to the incident.

On 12 January 2021, strong winds/big waves were experienced

in Simunul, Tawi-Tawi resulting to a total of 2 houses (1 - totally

1. NDRRM Operations Center (NDRRMOC)

a. Maintained RED ALERT Status since COVID-19 response operations. b. Continuous monitoring and ensure dissemination of Weather Advisories, and

General Flood Advisories to all concerned RDRRMCs/OCDROs through SMS, NDRRMC website, and official social media websites for further dissemination to their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs).

c. Prepared and issued a total of 46 Emergency Alert and Warning Message (EAWM) for dissemination of Telecommunication Companies to the affected areas from 08 January 2021 until 14 January 2021.

2. Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Services Administration (PAGASA)

Continuous weather monitoring and provision of weather updates.

3. Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)

Continuous coordination with DSWD FO VI for significant reports on the status of affected families, assistance, and relief efforts.

4. Department of Agriculture (DA)

a. Continuous monitoring of damage and losses in the agri-fisheries sector. b. Continuous coordination with concerned NGAs, LGUs, and other DRRM-

related offices for the impact of the flooding caused by TEFS. c. Ensured the availability of the following assistance for affected farmers and

fishers: ● Rice, corn, and assorted vegetable seed reserved from DA RFOs ● Drugs and biologics for livestock and poultry ● Survival and Recovery (SURE) Loan Program of Agricultural Credit Policy

Council (ACPC) ● Indemnification fund from Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) to

pay for the losses incurred.

B. REGIONAL DRRM COUNCILS (RDRRMC)

RDRRMCs CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, CARAGA, and BARMM are continuously monitoring its areas of responsibility. Further, said RDRRMCs are in coordination with their respective member agencies to ensure the widest dissemination of Weather Advisories, 24-hour Public Weather Forecasts, and General Flood Advisories through SMS, facsimile, and official social media websites.

response for any untoward incident. MDRRMC Toboso a. Provided warnings on possible flooding, flashfloods, and landslides in

hazard-susceptible areas, and are advised to take precautionary measures and evacuate as soon as possible through local community FM station.

b. Informed DPWH regarding the landslide along the National Highway to inspect and make assessment on the road and advised motorists to take extra precaution when passing the area.

CDRRMC Bacolod City a. Continuous monitoring of weather updates at CDRRMC Command

Center. b. Disseminated information to all Barangay DRRM Committee

Chairpersons. c. Conducted flood monitoring by DRRMC Flood Control Team and USAR

Team.

Municipality of Allen. d. Coordinated with DPWH VIII on the provision of Wing Vans for the delivery of

FFPs to Eastern Samar. e. Provided FOL for the DPWH VIII Wing Vans for the delivery of FFPs to

Eastern Samar. f. Coordinated with DOH VIII and DSWD VIII for the transport of medical supply

to PDOH Eastern Samar. g. Coordinated with TOG8 PAF regarding availability of air assets for the

conduct of SAR Operation for the missing fisherman of Silago, Southern Leyte.

DSWD VIII a. Prepositioned 5,500 family food packs amounting to ₱2,871,736.00. b. Prepositioned Family Food Packs (FFPs) in Samar Island which can be

distributed immediately by the P/C/MATs to Local Government Units that need augmentation support.
