NCS Multistage Introduces Anderson Thompson Reservoir Strategies at Unconventional Resources Technology Conference New business helps customers define and develop unconventional reservoirs Houston, July 15, 2015 —NCS Multistage, LLC, will introduce their recently
established reservoir engineering and consulting business, Anderson Thompson Reservoir Strategies at the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference,
in San Antonio, July 20-22, 2015.
Anderson Thompson is a team of reservoir engineers, geoscientists and fracture specialists focused on unconventional plays. David Anderson, Director, explains,
“We focus on unconventional plays, which are frequently difficult to evaluate because classical techniques developed for high-permeability reservoirs are
inadequate. Our approach, which utilizes rate-transient analysis, is low cost and provides more reliable evaluation of reserves and quantifies important
production drive mechanisms."
Robert Nipper, CEO of NCS Multistage says, “We are pleased to introduce our new reservoir strategies business at this conference and are excited that both
Dave Anderson and John Thompson, Senior Reservoir Engineer, are actively
2
involved in several URTeC sessions and events. Dave and John are both recognized as leaders in applying rate-transient analysis to unconventional
reservoirs. I am confident that our customers and other attendees can benefit from Dave's and John's expertise."
Anderson and Thompson are on the conference schedule as follows:
Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19
• Anderson will present a pre-conference short course: Modern Production Data Analysis for Unconventional Reservoirs.
Monday, July 20, 2015
• Anderson will deliver the keynote address titled: The Doctor Is In – Diagnosing the Health of Your Well at the conference Topical Luncheon. Room 214 A/B.
• Thompson will co-chair a morning session: The Montney in
Development Mode. Ballroom B. Tuesday, July 21, 2015
• Thompson will co-chair an afternoon session: Forecasting Production of Unconventional Reservoirs. Room 007.
Visits www.urtec.org for more details on the sessions. Anderson, Thompson,
and Nipper will be available for media interviews at the conference. To schedule interviews, please contact Kristin Early at 214-213-8857.
