Vision

With the creation of the NDCC in 2013, Mayor Hancock brought six large independent projects together, strategically aligned their planning to create synergies and drive a sense of responsibility, excitement and urgency for implementation in three historically underserved neighborhoods.

Over the past 2 1/2 years the NDCC has built, in partnership with city agencies and external partners, a program that has been inclusive of the community, to leverage expertise and create ongoing, transparent accountability.

The NDCC has also rebuilt a relationship (growing) with GES neighborhoods that provides a foundation for successful partnerships and future change that respects the culture and history of the community.

Six Projects – One Vision
