Dahab, the Arabic word for gold. The Bedouin

compared the shimmering sand with gold

dust. Dahab is famous for its deceptively deep

diving sites such as the Blue Hole, the Canyon and

the Lighthouse. Happy Life is located in front of one

of the most famous diving spots in Dahab, named Triple

Pools, Golden Blocks. These sites are challenging for both

beginners and experienced divers. English and German

speaking instructors from the hotel diving center Orca Dive

Club accompany less experienced divers and snorkellers

to colourful coral reefs and tropical fish.

The hotel also offers facilities for table tennis and a game

of pool. Surfing, water-skiing and jet-skiing equipment can

be hired in Dahab.

Happy Life Village organizes

excursions to the Sinai desert with

Bedouin guides. Our guests can explore

the desert by 4x4, camels or beach buggy and hike into

the Coloured Canyon or the White Canyon. A nocturnal

ascent to the summit of Mount Sinai ( 2285m ) is rewarded

with a spectacular sunrise and splendid views. Other

options are adventurous camel or jeep treks through the

desert. The ancient Monastery of St Catharine is for many

the highlight of their visit to the magnificent Sinai Desert.
