Habitat held a special place in Howard’s heart. He always looked forward to SUMC’s involvement in the building of a Habitat home…from the Wednesday that he would meet a few dedicated volunteers at the site, to the Saturdays he would meet a lot of volunteers at the site, and to the conclusion of dedicating the home to the new owners. Also, thank you to our friends and family who donated money to SUMC in Howard’s memory. That money will be used for the next build. Will you prayerfully consider donating to the next Habitat build during the month of April? Hope to see you at the next ground breaking ceremony. Sharon Deterding

Living Water Mission Trip

WATER FOR LIFE

IN JESUS’ NAME

This fall, a team from Strawbridge UMC will be going to Honduras to help drill a water well and teach hygiene in a community that has little or no access to clean water. The team is limited to 12 people (ideally 8 drillers and 4 hygiene workers) and the openings are already starting to fill up. There are still a few openings and while October may seem far off, these openings fill up very quickly. Absolutely no previous experience is necessary. If this sounds interesting and you’d like more information, please contact Maury Sticker. 281-433-9592 or [email protected]
