The perfect glove for different needsOur examination and protective gloves fulfil the important task of protecting the hands of the person who is wearing them during different types of use in an optimum way, while offering them a high level of comfort.

The requirements that gloves have to fulfil includes protecting people from mechanical risks, chemicals, heat, cold, moisture, grease and oils. Gloves are comfortable to wear when they fit well, are made out of skin-friendly materials, have a secure and non-slip grip on dry and wet surfaces, and preserve the sense of touch.

Glove materials We only use high-quality materials for our gloves, which have been meticulously manufactured. You can get more information on the respective glove materials, nitrile, latex vinyl and PE, directly from the product data pages.

Glove sizesDepending on the model, our gloves come in the sizes XS for very small hands and up to 3XL for very large hands.

The right size can be determined easily and quickly by measuring the circumference of your hands. Measure your hands with flexible measuring tape at the widest area of your hand without including your thumb. If you have any doubt, always order the larger size.

Standards and statutory requirementsOur examination and protective gloves comply with stipulated statutory requirements in the respective application areas. Symbols are used to identify several standards and statutory requirements in order to ensure adequate protection. Here you can find a selection of the most important symbols which we use to label our products.

Detailed information on the protective properties of the gloves for sale have to be indicated on the packaging, and if it has an i-symbol on it, it can be found directly in the instructions for use.inside the packaging.

EN 455Our non-sterile gloves are certified as a Class 1 medical product according to EN 455 under the Medical Device Directive, MPD) and they also have the CE marking.EN 420 Our protective gloves meet the general requirements set out in EN 420. All legally required information can be found on the packaging.

The EN 455-1:2000 standard stipulates that single-use medical gloves must have an impermeability level of at least 1.5 AQL (acceptable quality level). EN ISO 374-1:2016/Type B

The EN ISO 374-1:2016 standard regulates the performance requirements for protective gloves while handling dangerous chemicals and micro-organisms.Gloves labelled with the EN 374-1:2016 standard are assigned to the classes A, B or C, depending on their permeation resistance. There are a total of 18 chemicals that have been tested, which are indicated as a category identification letter under the symbol. Single-use

MEDI-BAG / MEDI-BAG GRIP is a specimen retrieval bag that opens automatically and has been developed for minimally invasive procedures in laparoscopic surgery . MEDI-BAG / MEDI-BAG GRIP reliably assists users with the safe collection and retrieval of tissue and organ specimens in the abdomen .

MEDI-BAG / MEDI-BAG GRIP is used, among other things, in tumour resections and gallbladder removal surgery for the fast and reliable collection and safe retrieval of tissue and organ specimens.

The Medi-Bag system is characterised by:

Specimen retrieval bag

The Medi-Bag principle

1. The specimen retrieval bag can be found rolled up in the insertion sheath of the MEDI-BAG / MEDI-BAG GRIP. The MEDI-BAG / MEDI-BAG GRIP is inserted into a suitable trocar.

2. Using the integrated pusher, the specimen retrieval bag is pushed forwards into the abdomen through the insertion sheath.

3. The specimen retrieval bag opens independently and remains wide open due to the memory effect of the Nitinol wire. The specimen retrieval bag is fully rolled up using grasping forceps. The opening of the MEDI-BAG GRIP model features infinitely variable control.

4. The large opening of the specimen retrieval bag makes it easier to collect tissue and organ specimens.

5. Once the tissue has been collected, the MEDI-BAG GRIP is closed securely using a thread by simultaneously pulling the pusher handle and the finger ring. In the MEDI-BAG model without a handle, the bag is closed by pulling the Nitinol wire closed using grasping forceps.

6. In the MEDI-BAG GRIP model, the specimen retrieval bag hangs suspended on the thread, securely closed, after being released from the insertion sheath. The sealed specimen retrieval bag is removed through the abdominal wall.

The ergonomically shaped trocars ensure endoscopic instruments and their replacements can be led in safely . The optical trocar MEDI-KEY OPTICAL supports the new standard for visually controlling access into the abdominal cavity . The tapered design of the opaque dilating tip enables the trocar to be led through the individual layers of tissue in a controlled and safe manner with 0°optics . Primary access is achieved gently without damaging patients’ tissue and organs .

The ergonomically shaped headrest ensures that patients are placed in a prone position in a safe and pressure relieving manner and that the tracheal tube remains kink-free during surgery . The headrest mirror enables the patient to be monitored by means of the high openings on the side of the headrest .

The individually and hygienically packed (non-sterile) headrest is

only intended for single-use with adults. This helps prevent cross-

contamination.

The patient’s head and face as well as the tracheal tube are all

easily accessible by means of the openings on the sides.

The ergonomic headrest made out of rigid PUR foam reduces the pressure on the patient’s head and

neck.
