Sports in NIET claim a fair share in the progress of the institution. Physical Directors impart and handle sports, games and physical fitness facilities.

Women Physical Directors have been appointed in order to train and encourage women students to participate in Inter University Sports meet. The sports facilities include playgrounds for indoor

and outdoor games such as Volleyball, Basketball, Kabadi, Cricket, Ball badminton and Table

Tennis.

NIET has a well-equipped modern Gymnasium separately for men and women.

NIET offers plenty opportunities to enrich students‟ cultural interests.

NIET has open air amphitheatres and auditoriums with latest audiovisual equipments to organize sports or cultural events for students.

NIET supports students to organize such events by providing hospitality, technical manpower, accommodation, logistical support and other needs in order to inculcate students team work,

leadership, interpersonal interaction, etc.
