8 « bisses » of which 6 have water flowing within their banks. The walks along the « bisses » are ideal for families as easy and of little variation. A free map is available at Nendaz Tourisme.
The « bisses » are fragile and require a lot of maintenance : Do not damage the banks in any way, as water which flows out of its banks can

La Tena
From Nendaz Tourisme go towards the cable-car, follow the main road until you reach a fork in the road, come back via the « Tena » road. Length 1h30
Haute-Nendaz village
From Nendaz Tourisme go towards la « Crettaz » (road running behind our office). At the « Crêtes » junction go straight along the little path until you reach the church by a gravel path, pass below the school and follow the road through the « Bornes » quarter back up to the resort. Length 1h30
Saclentse — Pont de la Scie
From Nendaz Tourisme go towards la Crettaz (road behind our office). At the intersection « de la Crête » follow the foot path sign. Walk through the village and follow the signs towards Beuson-Planchouet. Once on the bridge, come back the same way. Length 2h

Pushchair hikes
Departure from Planchouet
Bisse of Vex From the chapel, go direction Beuson. 200m further, the bisse starts on your right. It is possible to walk 30 minutes without problem with a pushchair. You can then come back on the same trail. Length 1h - 1h30
Departure from Siviez
Tortin
At Siviez, take the first trail to the right (just in front of the restaurant Les Bergers) until the Chottes de Tortin

You can visit the « Chottes d’alpage » (mountain cow sheds) and say hi to our famous Hérens cows. Come and meet the herdsmen during the summer with breakfast on the pastures.

Who are we? We are a holiday resort which lends itself perfectly to family holidays. Families must feel that they are welcome here.
What do we want? Our objective consists in offering to children as well as their parents or those accompanying them, a holiday which answers to all their desires and needs. A friendly attitude towards families is our major concern and it is by no means just another mar-keting ploy. All the suppliers of tourist services as well as the local population support this view.
How? On the basis of what a family desires and needs, we have accepted the quality criteria which is compulsory for each and every holiday resorts and which are checked periodically by an inde-pendent inspector. We guarantee our guests that these criteria are strictly respected and that we are permanently striving to improve and develop what services we offer. We have committed ourselves to publishing the truth concerning what is on offer for families. All those offers which do not live up to the guests’ expectations will be dealt with impartially.
