ELECTRIC FENCING & COCThe new Act requires that any electric security fence system,

installed, improved or repaired after the 1st October 2012, must have

certification showing that it complies with all the requirements

of the new Act and the end user must be issued with a Certificate of

Compliance.

NERMF’s employees are authorized according to Regulation 14 of the Electrical Machinery Regulations,

2011 to issue a certificate of compliance for electric fences with registration number EFSI 01090.

CRIME LINE / CRIME PIPER SERVICE NERMF recommends, as prescribed by the Companies Act,

(Act 71 of 2008), that all of business get involved in some sort of facility where employees and customers may disclose information regarding unlawful or irregular conduct associated to the client in a confidential manner.

NERMF offers a similar facility, “Crime Line”, in accordance to the Protected Disclosures Act, (Act 26 of 2000), to “create a culture that facilitates the disclosure of information by employees about criminal or other irregular conduct in the workplace responsibly; and to promote the eradication of criminal and other irregular conduct in organs of state and private bodies.”

NERMF also administrate the Community Crime Line "Crime Piper".
