Medium hard and abrasive ground requires the red GeO HaWk matrix for effective drilling. These types of ground contain rocks such as serpentine, dolomite, granite or shale. The RED GEO HAWK matrix has the ideal durability for such terrain.
Perfect for hard ground, the OraNGe GeO HaWk has all the required features for effectively drilling through granite, gabbro, diorite or hematite rock. It is a matrix of medium durability that is specifically designed for these types of ground.

Casing shoes are available for all types of terrain and are offered with a diamond impregnation height of 5 mm or 6 mm. 523 casing shoes are ideal for shallow overburden of sand, gravel or clay with few boulders while the 823 casing shoes performs best in deep overburden with more boulders.

OWl WIrelINe COrING sysTems. Each component of the OWL product line is manufactured with care and is designed to be interchangeable with the majority of standard wireline coring systems.
The range of OWL products offered by Fordia includes coring systems, head assemblies and overshots.
CONveNTIONal COrING sysTems are also available at Fordia in standard DCDMA sizes. All parts can be purchased separately so you can easily maintain your system. To obtain a larger core sample with a standard hole diameter, NV2 (thin kerf) conventional coring systems are recommended. Make sure to ask your representative for more information.

Fordia offers conventional and hexagonal lOCkING COuplINGs that help stabilize the drill string and quickly protect the hole diameter should the reamer lose its gauge. For greater stabilization and less vibration of the drill string, Fordia also manufactures heavy-duty locking couplings reinforced with infiltrated tungsten carbide pads.

spT splIT spOON samplers include a durable head, a split section made of high-grade 4130 grade steel and a heat-treated shoe. These products are available with 2”, 2-1/2”, 3” or PW diameter, with either a standard fine thread shoe (8 threads per inch) or a rapid thread shoe (4 threads per inch). Available lengths for these samplers are 18” or 24”.

spT splIT spOON sHOes are made of high-grade steel and have been heat-treated to provide excellent wear resistance. The shoe’s interior diameter is slightly smaller than the sampling tube’s to allow for better recovery.

Indented outlet baskets allow the sample to penetrate before closing and securing the sample as it comes out of the ground. Available in rigid or soft plastic to suit all kinds of grounds, SPT BaskeT reTaINers come in all standard formats.
SamPler liNerS
Made of durable plastic, sampler liners allow you to maximize sample recovery inside split spoons. To help preserve the entire recovered sample, plugs can be purchased to block the ends of the liners. sampler lINers are available in diameters from 1-1/2” to 2-1/2” and in 18” and 24” lengths.

The explO from Fordia is a light and portable drilling rig designed for shallow geotechnical investigation and geophysical (seismic) exploration using rotary drilling, drilling, coring, auger drilling or percussive drilling with a down-the-hole hammer. With an aluminum transport skid, you can easily transport it to any site, even those with difficult access. Its light weight also makes it easy to transport by helicopter.
Fordia’s 230 is a lightweight geotechnical drilling rig that is mounted on a variable width track. Male and female double threading positioned under the injection swivel allows you to easily change drilling techniques without wasting time.
The léGère300 is a lightweight, track-mounted drilling rig that is designed for shallow investigation, rotary drilling, continuous auger drilling or shallow rotary percussive drilling. Thanks to its chase and low center of gravity, this product is easy to handle and can work on rough terrain. The LÉGÈRE300 comes with a remote controller so you can control it from a distance.
