COURSE DELIVERY

The course is available in flexible study formats, including full and part-time pathways, with September and January starts. This course comprises eight 15 credit taught modules, followed by a 60 credit research project.

MSc Audio Production will underpin the creative and practical experience you gain, with a thorough theoretical knowledge in audio and acoustics as you explore the theory, design and management across several industry platforms.

Designed to build upon engineering and technology fundamentals, this innovative course enables you to explore sound engineering, music production and audio technology, developing your professional skills.

COURSE INFORMATION

Start Date: September, January

Duration: One year full-time (Sep); 16 months full-time (Jan); three years part-time

Location: Peel Park/MediaCityUK

Entry Requirements:

Applicants should possess at least a second-class honours degree (2:2) with significant elements of audio technology or production.

We also accept applicants who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience, through our Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) scheme.

International applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English through an IELTS score of 6.0 (and no element below 5.5).
