Date: 15-09-2019 – 16-09-2019 Time: 10.00 am Resource Person: Mr. OOPs, i3indya Technologies ETHICAL HACKING AND CYBER SECURITY workshop was conducted by Department of Information Science and Engineering & Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking Club in collaboration with i3-indya Technologies on 15th & 16th of September,2019. It was an Intercollegiate Workshop where more than 100 students took part . The workshop was initiated by Mrs. Shobha Shanmugam (Sr Asst. Prof ,ISE Dept , iCSEH club Workshop Coordinator), who had analyzed numerous number of websites and organizations to get hold of the organization that delivers its best in the stipulated field. Without any delay she approached Dr.R J Anandhi (HOD,ISE dept) to secure the permission to organize it within the department, where as the HOD who found the proposal very interesting and prominent decided to organize the workshop at intra-collegiate level. Which notion let them to approach Dr.Manjunatha(Principal, NHCE) , who was very impressed with the idea and not only gave his consent to organize it in intra-collegiate level rather inter-collegiate level. The process was long and tedious but with their constant support the workshop was finally approved by our honorable chairman Dr.Mohan Manghnani. To go ahead professors Mrs. Shobha Shanmugam (Sr Asst. Prof ,ISE Dept ), Mrs. Mounica B(Sr.Asst Prof, ISE Dept), Mrs.Vanadana C P(Sr.Asst. Prof ,ISE Dept) formed a unit to support and work on the backend requirements of the workshop. As CSEH is a student oriented club , efficient working student committee was formed to work on the same.

ETHICAL HACKING AND CYBER SECURITY workshop was conducted by Department

of Information Science and Engineering & Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking Club in

5. Career guidance and scope of cyber security by experienced faculty.

Campaigning and registrations done by the Student Committee .

After successful campaigning and good number of registrations , we went ahead with

arranging backend requirements, food and accommodation facilities for the participants.

● Falconry Seminar Hall was booked.

● lunch and refreshments were arranged.

● Toolkits were arranged.

ON THE DAY OF EVENT:

DAY 1:(15-09-2019)

Finally, the day had arrived. We encountered a huge number of walk-in that morning along with

the pre registered enthusiastic students from various colleges.We started of with a welcoming

ceremony followed by our principal Dr.Manjunatha ,Dean of Academics Dr.C.S.R Prashanth,

Dean of Student Affairs Dr.Ganesh Prasad, ISE HOD Dr.Jithendra Mungara addressing the

gathering and welcoming the speaker

Soon after the welcoming ceremony the speaker Mr.Ooppss, started off with the workshop

around 10:30 and the gig went on until 4:30 pm. Students were excited to learn various concepts

of hacking and the security nuances. Mr.Ooppss , exposed us to the virtual environment in every

bit of his presentation.

Mr.Ooppss teaching the concepts with live examples.

DAY 2:(16-09-2019)

Second day started with the same enthusiasm as the first day but with more eagerness to know

more about the topic.The speaker never disappointed us .He kept us engaged through a lot of

hands-on sessions and demos.He made it even more interesting by sharing few live cases with

us. As the gig was going on it finally had to come to an end .

Validitory function in the presence of Dr.Manjunatha ,Dean of Academics Dr.C.S.R Prashanth,

Dean of Student Affairs Dr.Ganesh Prasad, ISE HOD Dr.R J Anandhi and other dignitaries was

arranged.

It started with students coming up to share their experience and dignitaries distributing

certificates to all the students.The workshop came to an end with all the dignitaries expressing

their appreciations.

The workshop came to an end with positive feedback and satisfaction from the participants. They

were happy with the arrangements, registration kit, lunch and refreshments. The external

participants showed their interest in participating in similar workshops in near future .
