Science has not been able to solve the mystery of how the universe came into being or explain exactly what continues to give it creative energy and masterful design. No religion asserts that it has found words to name fully the ineffable mystery of God, for no matter what name we use, God always transcends our limited ability to understand. God is a mystery to be believed, not known. MYSTERY The God of the universe is mysterious. And yet, we Christians believe that our name for God best expresses that inexpressible mystery: God is the Most Holy Trinity of three persons united in a communion of love, pouring forth that creative, saving, sanctifying love into the world. Choir News!!!

An opportunity will soon be upon us. We will be able to offer our God-given talents to his service. The Sacred Heart Church Choir is always looking for new members. Pentecost and the Ministry Fair will be a good time to commit to the choir. We would love to have new voices. If you don’t want to sing we would like more musicians.

Presently, we are in search of 1 or 2 persons to be our sound engineer. We would need these persons during our Thursday evening practices as well and dedication is a must. If you are interested please come and visit us after Mass or at our Thursday 6:30pm practice. You can also sign up at the Ministry Fair.

Please pray about this and consider joining our choir.

Stewardship: Are You Using God’s gifts to do God’s Works?

A Stewardship Moment In today’s second reading Saint Paul’s final appeal is a call for unity. God created that unity. Good stewards who share Christ’s life in the Eucharist belong to each other, just as God in the three persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit enjoy unity. We are an intimate part of God’s divine bond, God’s “family.” Saint Paul maintains that we ought to act that way. In the Church there is a bond of family, yet plenty room for variety. Christian stewards use their uniquely varied gifts to live a Trinitarian faith, in unity, promoting Christ’s peace and justice. How do we promote unity in our parish?
