11 Things to Know: 1. Minnesota begins a six-day, four-game road trip in New Jersey after going 3-0-0 in its first homestand of the year. Minnesota lost itslone road game, its season opener, 3-2, in St. Louis on Oct. 13. Last season, the Wild earned points in 24 of its 41 road contests (17-17-7). 2. The Wild has not opened the scoring in any game this season, but with three straight victories after its opponent scored first, it is tiedfor most comeback victories in the NHL. (BOS, TBL, VAN). Last season, Minnesota ranked last in the NHL with five comeback wins,posting a 5-25-6 record when its opponent scored first. 3. He was inducted intothe Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007. He also served in multiple roles on New Jersey’s coaching staff for two seasons (2012-14). JohnAnderson also joins the Wild as an assistant coach this season. Anderson has coached in both the NHL and AHL, most recentlyserving as head coach of the AHL’s Chicago Wolves the last three seasons. 8. Bruce Boudreau is in his first season with the Wild after being named head coach on May 7. In nine previous seasons in the NHL,he coached his team to a division title eight times.
