Blackpool School Games 2016
Well done to all the children who represented ‘South Ribble’ in the School Games at Blackpool on Tuesday. We had three teams all representing the
area: Girls’ Football, Netball and Tennis. Great effort by all
the children involved.
Our Race for Life event will take place on Monday 18th July on the school field. A further letter will be sent giving more information about times, spectating and supporting. We have got off to a great start and donations are already coming in at a great pace! Thank you. If you are able to donate on-line, this ensures donations get to the charity quicker and more efficiently. We are also able to keep an eye on the total and see all the lovely messages of support. Please encourage your sponsors to donate on-line, the link is:
www.justgiving.com/newlongtonprimary
There is also a link direct from the school website on the home page, under ‘News’.
Thank you for your support.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped and supported the Sausage Sizzle. What a fantastic day we had! The final total raised on the day was £2468.86. This is a fantastic amount so well done to everyone for their help on the day and leading up to the event and especially Mr Barnes and the members of the PTFA. Thank you.
