GENERAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES 1. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GENERAL PROVISIONS OF THE CONTRACT, INCLUDING GENERAL AND SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS. 2. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE TO THE FACE OF CONCRETE, THE CENTERLINE OF COLUMNS, THE FACE OF CONCRETE BLOCK WALLS, THE FACE OF EXTERIOR SHEATHING AND THE FACE OF STUDS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 9. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EROSION CONTROL DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE, INCLUDING ANY PROVISIONS THAT MAY NEED TO BE TAKEN TO DIVERT SEDIMENT FROM LEAVING THE SITE AND ENTERING ADJACENT STREETS OF PROPERTIES. SUBMIT AND OBTAIN A STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN (SWPPP). 13. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROMPTLY CLEAN UP ANY MATERIAL EXCAVATED WITHIN THE RIGHT - OF - WAY SO THAT THE EXCAVATED MATERIAL IS NOT SUSCEPTIBLE TO BEING WASHED DOWN THE STREET OR INTO THE STORM DRAIN SYSTEM. 14. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE ALL REQUIRED PERMITS AS REQUIRED BY LOCAL AUTHORITIES, PRIOR TO BEGINNING CONSTRUCTION. 15. PERFORM ALL EARTHWORK (CUT & FILL) IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL LOCAL / STATE CODES AND REQUIREMENTS OF CIVIL DRAWINGS. 16. PERFORM FINAL GRADING TO PROVIDE COMPLETE & POSITIVE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM BUILDING STRUCTURE AND OFF ALL PAVED AREAS AS INDICATED ON GRADING AND DRAINAGE PLAN. DEMONSTRATE POSITIVE DRAINAGE TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ARCHITECT AND CIVIL ENGINEER. PONDING OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE. 17. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES1. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GENERAL

3. 17. ALL UTILITIES, UTILITY SERVICE LINES AND IRRIGATIONLINES, IF REQUIRED, SHALL BE INSTALLED PRIOR TOPAVING.
