Basant Panchmi is an occasion which marks the onset of the ‘Spring ’. Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of knowledge and wisdom, is also specially worshipped on this day. Thus to mark the occasion, D.W.P.S , Ashta conducted a Special Assembly. It started with ‘Saraswati Vandana’. Principal along with Student Council Members worshipped and garlanded the picture of Maa Saraswati which was followed by speeches in Hindi and English & Hindi Poem, presented by the Students of Class 6: Sarthak Sarasiya , Ahsana Siddiqui & Yuvraj Mandloi respectively. The School Principal in her address signified the importance of showing respect to books as they are repositories of wisdom and knowledge.

13 FEB DWPS, Ashta ‘Wonderland Kids’ organized “DWPS Mall” activity in which different stalls were created like Play Zone, Book Palace, Sports Store, Fruit &Veggie Store, Jhilmil General Store, Gini & Johny. The kids sold goods at mock currency, learnt value of money- its judicious use and had great fun.

The Second camp of Rubella Measles Vaccination was conducted in the School Campus to vaccinate the remaining number of kids.
