New TSplus Belt Grinder

As part of Bosch Rexroth’s commitment to product improvement, a newTSplus belt grinder is now available.

The new grinder offers many ergonomic improvements over the formerversion. They include:

1. New lightweight design - 10.5kg (an 18kg reduction in weight).

2. Extruded aluminum profile base with rubber feet and handle for easier handling.

3. On/Off switch located on top of the motor for quick access .

This new grinder is included in both welding kits (Size 1 & Size 2) and isalso available as a separate component.

Belt Drive Components 3–9

To weld belt ends together, a Size1 or Size 2 belt welding kit isneeded. The Size 1 belt welding kitis used on conveyors 160 mm to480 mm wide; the Size 2 kit is usedon conveyors 560 mm to 1040 mmwide. Each belt welding kit in-cludes a belt-grinding device forbeveling the ends of the belt, aheat press for fusing the ends ofthe belt together, and a ratchet-tensioning unit and clamping jawfor pre-tensioning. An abrasiveband, brush, cleaning agent andadhesive are also included.

To cut welding time in half, asecond heating press is recom-mended for welding together twoadjacent belts at the same time.

NOTE: This kit is not intended foruse with toothed belts such asthose on BS2 transverse conveyors.
