new production of Mozart’s masterpiece Don Giovanni, conducted

by glyndebourne on Tour’s new musical director Jakub Hru sa.

rossini’s comedy la Cenerentola, vividly brought to life in Sir Peter

hall’s acclaimed production, is a re-telling of Perrault’s classic

fairy tale, Cinderella. The Tour is completed by Monteverdi’s last

work The Coronation of Poppea, set in a world of sensuality where

AN iNSPeCTOR MORSe MySTeRy

Exactly 35 years after a certain grumpy super-sleuth with an eye

for the ladies and a thirst for real ale made his first appearance

in Colin Dexter’s novel Last Bus to Woodstock, he’s back.

inspector Morse takes to the stage this autumn in an all-new

murder mystery, House of Ghosts. By special arrangement

with Colin Dexter and starring Colin Baker (Dr Who) as Morse,

Alma Cullen, the writer behind four of the hugely successful iTV

episodes and director Robin Herford (Woman in Black), bring

the inscrutable detective to audiences across the uK in what

promises to be one of the theatrical events of the year.

since Oxford undergraduate days, Morse has regarded theatre

director laurence Baxter as the only truly evil man he has ever

met. so what happens when, twenty-odd years later, Morse finds

Baxter at the centre of a murder case that involves the on-stage

death of a young actress?

LOCATION AND TRANSPORTCar The New Victoria Theatre is part of the Peacocks Centre in central Woking,

just off Victoria Way and easily accessible from the M25 (Jct 10, 11), M3 (Jct 3) and A3 - take signs to the town centre. Pay on exit for parking 2,500 cars available in the Peacocks Centre. Pre-pay facilities are available throughout the car parks and shopping centre.

Bus or coach The limited space for coaches to drop off directly outside the theatre is reserved for groups with mobility difficulties. Please call the groups hotline 0844 871 7601 for a permit for this space or for details of alternative coach parking facilities.

Train Woking train station is 5 minutes walk from the theatre. Train information 0845 7484950.
