Metallocene Polypropylene
The micronized, Metallocene based PP wax has a mean particle size diameter of 8.0µm.
The Metallocene process enables narrow molecular weight distribution with advantageous
physical properties when molten like for powder coating applications.

• 0,5% PP: only a small piece of the sealant remainedadhesion failure

Sustainable sourceDescription
The sustainable source consists of sugar molecule combined with fatty acids. This
composition behaves like wax and can be micronized. The mean particle size diameter is
about 6.0µm. The low melt viscosity wax shows outstandingly effective properties in
powder coating applications.

What is a Polysaccharide?

Polysaccharide consist of many monosaccharide. These monosaccharide are linked with so called glycosidic linkages. There are plenty of different possibilities and combinations. The pictures show just examples of the most common monosaccharide and the 1,4 glycosidic linkage of glucose.

Polysaccharide additive
The micronized Poysaccharide is an additive for wood coatings with a mean
particle size diameter of approximately 30µm and no melting point. The nature of
this micronized Polysaccharide creates a smooth and soft touch surface like
untreated wood. With this additive there is no compromise between wood touch
and protection by a coating. By adding this Polysaccharide you can increase the
coefficient of friction combined with outstanding scratch resistance performance
especially in water based formulations.

Even with an increased coefficient of friction
compared to standard waxes the Polysaccharide
showed an absolutely strong scratch resistance
