Newark, NJ, 4/16/2010 - Newark Speaks, in partnership with SEIU Local 617 is pleased to announce the first of what hopes to be an ongoing debate series in the city of Newark, for the people of Newark. The Newark Speaks Municipal Election Debate Series, will be an open forum for true dialogue between municipal candidates and Newark’s citizens, and will follow the core tenets of the NewarkSpeaks.com political online forum. Newark Speaks believes that open and free discussions are healthy and necessary for Newark’s progress as a community. Forum Owner/ Manager, Mr. Musa Muhammad states, “we actively urge our citizens to engage our representatives, demonstrating that sharing your mind and sharing your views lets the world know how you feel and allows others to agree, disagree, support you, debate you, join you, or educate you regarding those views.
