and reaching the expectations of the stakeholders in empowering

the women students. Good education is the foundation for a

secure, prosperous and bright future. Our students, the learners

of today are well trained to face the challenges of highly

competitive future.

We have wellexperienced, qualified and highly motivated

faculty, staffand skill development trainers to make sure that

our studentsenhance their thinking capacity, analytical frameworks

interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical skillswhich will mould them into well rounded

technocrats. Also ourautonomous status allows us to constantly review the curriculum and update as per

the industry requirementswhich ensure that all our students are industry ready when theyleave our

institution. Outcome Based teaching learning process, academic discipline, innovative practices in the

laboratory, project based subject learning, bridge course, remedial classes, research and development

activities, industry linked training and internship opportunities, various skill training for facing

interviews, personality development programmes and active participation in the various seminars,

conferences, activities for life skills, yoga and meditation, etc. In both curricular and co-curricular

activities our students have been faring exceptionally well at various levels and upholding the prestige of

the institution. INFLIBNET facility was yet again extended to all the students and staff of the college.

Implementing Swachh Bharat, JaganannaPachhathoranam, conducting awareness programmes and

celebrating national importance programmes creates sense of responsibility in all stakeholders. The active

role of statutory and non-statutory bodies, NCC, NSS, WEC, Anti Ragging Cell, Consumer club, Eco club,

Alumni etc., enhance good administration and academic excellence of the institution. On its part, the

Department of Collegiate Education, AP is extending constant support to the students by taking timely

initiatives in providing employment through the conduct of job recruitment drives in the College.Being an

excellent destination for quality education, SKR & SKR Govt. College for Women (A), Kadapa. with its

veteran management, faculty and staff are contributing significantly to make the students to reach the

pinnacle of prospective career

INAUGURATION OF JKC NEW BATCH

Sri B.Gangadhar, Lecturer in History

Organised Certificate course on “Health

Education” on 17.02.2021. This meeting was

inaugurated by Dr P.Subba Lakshumma,

Principal. Dr Lakshmi Bai attended as Chief

Guest and Dr J.Venkata Shiva, Asst Surgeon,

RIMS, Kadapa attended as Guest of Honour on

this day and explained in detail on importance

of Health. 100 students will get benefit from this

course.

CERTIFICATE COURSE

JKC New batch 2021 was inaugurated on

18.02.2021 by Dr P. Subba Lakshumma,

Principal with Coordinator K.V Ramana,

Lecturer in English, and Mentors P. Vara

Prasad, and Ravindra Reddy.100 Students

registered in the new batch

VALEDICTORY FUNCTION OF CERTIFICATE COURSE ON TALLY

Valedictory function On certificate course in

Tally with GST was conducted on 24.02.2021.

The Department of Commerce successfully

completed the one month Certificate course on

Tally from 24.01.2021 to 24.02.2021. Dr P.Subba

Lakshumma presided the meeting and convey

wishes to all the Commerce Faculty,Students and

distributed certificates to the students.

INAUGURATION OF MSC ZOOLOGY

MSC Zoology Classes inaugurated by

Principal on 06.02.2021 and convey best

wishes to the students. 30 students joined

in this course and classes were successfully

commencing.

Reputed Scopus Journal on the topic entitled “Exploring Team based Learning for Teaching

IQAC

The Institution has active Internal Quality Assurance Cell to frame the policy for

the Academic and Administrative growth of the Institution. IQAC is playing a

major role in designing and maintaining the quality assurance within academic

systems. IQAC cell actively functioning in timely submission of AQAR, AISHE

and NIRF data every year.Nirf for the academic year 2021 successfully

submitted on 3.02.2021.

BIO METRIC ATTENDANCE

Bio metric attendance systems provide a convenient way to check in and check out into the

system by simply scanning their biometrics. 12 biometric devices functioning in the college

both for staff and students. All the teaching and non teaching staff and students enter their

biometric at the time of entering into the college and after leaving the college.

NCC Camp training sessions in college was organised by Dr M.Padmavathi, NCC Coordinator from

09.02.2021 to 13.02.2021. On the part of this Lt. Col N.Salathia, Commanding Officer interacted with

NCC Cadets and inspired the students. Dr P.Subba Lakshumma enlightened the students on training

activities that enable cadets to develop leadership skills and enhance their character qualities.

On the occasion of 1971 Indo Pak war success celebrations the Department of

Physics,NCC Coordinator Dr.MPadmavathi conducted Painting competition to NCC

Cadets on 23.02.2021

HACKTHON

Department of Computer Science conducted

Hackthon to BSC Students on 11.02.2021. All

the BSC Computer students actively

participated.

FACULTY INDUCTION PROGRAMME

11.02.2021 INAUGURATION FUNCTION

One week Guru Dakshata Faculty Induction programme was conducted from 11.02.2021 to

18.02.2021 was organised by Smt C.V Krishnaveni, IQAC Coordinator and Kum K.Shalini, IQAC

Co-Coordinator ,suggested by University Grants Commission. Dr P. Subba Lakshumma

inaugurated the meeting and shared her views with faculty attending this type of programmes

would enhance skills of Teaching concepts practically and improve the performance of faculty in

teaching.

On this day Sri M.Veera Bhadraiah, Lecturer in Political Science, SKR & SKR Govt

College for Women(A), Kadapa acted as Resource person and explained in detail

about the Importance of Health Consciousness.

acted as Resource person and delivered a talk on Role and responsibility of teacher among

the students.

On this day Swamy Turiyananda Saraswathi from Chinmaya Mission attended as

Resource person and delivered a talk on “Professional Ethics” and importance of

ethics in life by giving examples. All the faculty feel that the delivery and presentation

of the resource person was good.

16.02.2021 Prof B.Sudhakar Reddy, Lecturer in Physics, SKR & SKR Govt. College for Women(A),

Kadapa acted as resource person explained in detail about the “Annual Self Appraisal

Report” preparation and calculation. He shared his knowledge with participants

using powerpoint presentation.

17.02.2021 Sri G.L.N Prasad, Lecturer in Zoology, Govt College for Men(A), Ananthapur invited as resource

person and delivered talk on “Stress Management” and suggested that stress can be reduced by

using relaxation techniques such as Yoga, Meditation. He shared his knowledge using Powerpoint

presentation.

One week Guru Dakshata Faculty Induction programme organised by IQAC team suggested by

University Grants Commission successfully completed from 11.02.2021 to 18.02.2021. The

Valedictory session of this programme was chaired by Dr P.Subba Lakshumma, Principal and

congratulated the organising team for the successful completion of the programme. All the faculty

feel that this Programme brought practical knowledge of the subject. Principal digitally launched the

e certificates to the participants. Vote of thanks was proposed by K.Shalini, IQAC Co-Coordinator.

On the occasion of National Science Day Celebrations all Science Departments

inventions” on 22.02.2021. All Science

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

National Science Day Celebrations was conducted on 27.02.2021 organised by G.Subhasini

Devi, Lecturer in Zoology. Dr G. Vijaya Raghava Prasad, Registrar, YVU Kadapa was

invited as Chief Guest and delivered the significance of Science Day and role of Science and

Technology in the present Scenario and motivated the students. Prizes was distributed to the

winners of the events organised on this occasion.

ISO TEAM VISIT

Sri A. Sivaiahgaru, Director, HYM ISO Certification visited the college on 26.02.2021. Dr

P.Subbalakshumma Principal welcomes the team members. A Siviaiahgaru interacted with

all the staff, Students and explained in detail about the importance of getting ISO

certification to the college and this certification is given based on a number of Quality

management principles. The teaching and non teaching staff expressed their happiness on

getting the ISO certification.
