This week we celebrated the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with various activities being run within our school. NAIDOC Week is always an important event at Bluff Point PS ~ a celebration of culture, art, dance, food and friendship. And although this year ran a little differently, the students and staff enjoyed a wonderful day. See inside this Newsletter for some photo highlights of the day.

Earlier this week our staff came together to celebrate 35 years of dedicated service to public education in Western Australia by Mrs Patricia Molseed.

With her trusty pals Diesel (dec) and Austin by her side, Pat has spent the last 9 years encourag-ing the students of Bluff Point Primary School to find the songs in their heart and the beat in their feet.

Pat, thank you for your commit-ment to our school, for your enthusiasm with our students and for the fun times we’ve shared together as a staff.

A heartfelt congratulations to you Mrs Molseed. We wish you and Austin the very best of health and happiness as you enter retirement.

Thanks for the music, Mrs Molseed
