HIGHLIGHTS

Parents generously donated clothes, toys books and newspapers for our Social Service

Drive. The school tied up with the ‘Robin Hood Army’. The collected items were

distributed among the needy. Their twinkling eyes & smiling faces filled our

hearts with joy.

launched to encourage our

young readers to read an array of stories--just a

click away.

Birla High School hosted ‘QUAESTIO’ – a virtual

interschool quiz competition with 18 schools participating from all across the country in

this competition of wit and knowledge.

The Investiture Ceremony was held virtually to induct the new Student

Council. IPS, Neeloo Sherpa, Deputy Inspector General of Police was the

Chief Guest for the ceremony.

The boys of Class III celebrated this day by ‘Creating Music out of

Nothing’.

Rath Yatra - 12th July 2021The tiny tots of Nursery enjoyed chanting

‘Jai Jagannath’ and pulled their own decorated raths. They also danced and

narrated the story of this festival.

International Tiger Day

1st August 2021

On International Tiger Day

our KG students pledged

to spread awareness for

the conservation of our

National Animal.

Students celebrated Founder’s Day virtually in order to thank our founder, Syt. L.N. Birla

who realized the need for a school that combined Indian thought and Western techniques. May we continue to carry

forward this 'Legacy of Excellence'.

Hand- made crowns, braceletsand other beautiful gifts were

made by boys for their mothers.

beat the heat.

Rabindra Jayanti7th May 2021

Students from KG to Class V enthusiastically celebrated the 160th birthday of Rabindranath

Tagore. They recited his poems, sang Rabindra Sangeet & danced to the melodious tune of

‘Megher Koley.’

World Laughter Day 2nd May 2021

The sound of a child's laughter is the best music to the ears. Tougher times necessitate a

stronger spirit. Let us all rekindle the inner child's desire to laugh at life's little pleasures.

Father’s Day

18th June 2021This day was celebrated

by all classes to say a ‘Thank you’ to their 'Super

Heroes’ – their dads.

75th Independence Day 15th August 2021

The pupils of Class V commemorated India's 75th

Independence Day. They reflected on the sacrifices made by our

freedom fighters.

National Doctors’ Day1st July 2021

To appreciate and honour doctors who have endlessly

strived to help us recover from our illnesses, the students of Birla High School observed

National Doctors' Day.

World Book Day23rd April 2021

Students of Classes II, III and

IV celebrated World Book Day during their Story Telling

classes. They dressed up as their favourite characters and

enacted portions from different stories.

World Yoga Day21st April 2021

The students of all classes celebrated World Yoga Day with yoga instructors from all over

India & also from the USA.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHER EARTH!

On 22nd April, students of Classes Nursery to V celebrated Earth Day in their own special

way by making paper bags with newspapers. They promised to reduce waste by reusing &

recycling.

KG celebrated this day by drawing and colouring

pictures using numbers. This helped strengthen their focus & improved

their hand-eye coordination.

Students of Classes III, IV & V participated in Manas

Mahotsav organized by Pariwar Milan on 24th July 21. Our students made us proud

by bagging the 1st prize.

Birla High School bagged the 2nd Runner Up Trophy in

QUAESTIO 2021.

Wrishik Ghosh of Class I has been recognized by the India

Book Of Records as the ‘Fastest Kid to recite 100 to 0 and then 1

to 100 non-stop’.

On the Occasion of Independence Day, our young patriots explored ‘Vibrant India’ & were

familiarized with our National symbols

Class II visited Masai Mara in Kenya to celebrate ‘World Nature Conservation Day’.

This was linked to the EVS lesson- Wild Animals.

Students of Class I welcomed Miraitowa, the Tokyo Olympic Mascot to join their virtual

field trip around ‘Incredible India’. They travelled to Odisha, Chennai, Delhi and Agra

to discover & identify different shapes.

The virtual trip from Gangotri to Gangasagarmade the students aware of the lifeline of our

country--the Ganga- & and made them realize its impact on our lives.

MAY OUR STUDENTS CONTINUE TO SHINE BRIGHT…

Our young explorers of Nursery visited the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania

and the Oceanographic Aquarium in Spain.
