TECH HELP TWICE A WEEK The Calabasas Senior Center offers free Tech Help for all guests and members every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday aſternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Just drop-in - - no appointment needed! Bring your cell phones or computers. Paent and understanding high school student volunteers will answer all your quesons. New Volunteer: Kala Paramesh Kala Paramesh, a new volunteer at the Front Desk, has lived in Calabasas for about 45 years. She also serves as a Mah Jongg instructor one evening a week. Born and educated in India, Kala received her Bachelor’s Degree in India and her Masters and Ph.D. in California. Her specialty in psychology is Counseling Technology. She works with in-paents and outpaents, and especially with the senior populaon. Kala and her husband have two adult children and three grandchildren. Kala enjoys tennis, golf and Mah Jongg. Save the Date! May is “Better Hearing Month” Dr. Iris Stone, Audiologist, will help you “hear life and live well” with a complimentary hearing screen and consultaon using state-of-the-art diagnosc technology. Screenings and consultaons are being offered on a drop-in basis on Wednesday, May 22nd from 9am to 4 pm at the Calabasas Senior Center. For more informaon: (818) 224-1777. NEW! Song and dance duo Tricia and Tracy will perform popular music from past to present in a fun-filled variety hour. CODE 7104.201 and 7104.301 Viewpoint Jazz Lab presented by 7 th and 8 th graders from Viewpoint Middle School. They will perform some swinging tunes and stomping beats! CODE 7105.201 “A Golddigger” features entertainer Suzy Cadham presenng stories and video clips about the Golden Age of Variety TV and celebries she worked alongside. CODE: 7106.201 Creave Collage For Beginners with instructor Toby Salkin who will teach the method to arrange a collage using your own memorabilia and photos or using “found materials” supplied by the instructor. CODE 7912.201 or 7912.301 Poery Paint Workshop: Donut Mug and Watermelon Bowl: Color Me Mine will present two workshops using a step-by- step process so that you will end up with an awesome piece of poery. CODE 7913.201 (mug) or 7915.301 (bowl). Mind Mapping From Medical Quagmire To Opmal Health presented by Janet Solie, who will lead a hands on workshop teaching you to create mind maps for health issues. CODE 7007.201

APRIL MOVIE MATINEE

Join us for the April Movie Matinee on Friday, April 19th at 2:00pm. The film will be “Something’s Gotta

Give” starring Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. When aging womanizer Harry Sanborn (Jack Nicholson) and his young girlfriend, Marin (Amanda Peet), arrive at her family's beach house in the Hamptons, they find that her mother, dramatist Erica Barry (Diane Keaton), also plans to stay for the weekend. Enjoy freshly made hot popcorn while you watch the film in the multi-purpose room of the Calabasas Senior Center.
