From2016Iamaco-founderofacommunityorganization"PerformingArtsRegionalNetwork"inArmeniawhichsupportstheatrecurators,researchersandyoungleadersinthefieldofperformingartstodevelopinfrastructureforcontemporaryartists.TheaimofPARNfocusesonworkinginArmeniaandneighboringcountries,toprovidedevelopmentaidorassistancetocontemporarytheatreinArmenia,implementingtheprogramsforregionalcollaborationofindependenttheatrecompanies.Thenetworkcancontributetotheemergenceofcommunityamongprofessionalsinthefieldoftheaterfromvariouscountries,experimentalandindependenttheaters.Itmakespossibletogeneratenewknowledgeinthefieldofartandcontemporarytheater,whichwillhelptocontributetothedevelopmentofArmeniancontemporarytheater,aswellasgiveanopportunitytoworkwithvariousexpertsinthisfield.

TheInternationalFestivalDivadelnaNitraisthebiggesttheatrefestivalandoneofthemostsignificantculturaleventsinSlovakia.Itcelebrated25thyearsinSeptember2016.AstheFestivalisanon-governmentalnon-profiteventthisjubileewasforusagreatsuccess.FromthebeginningthemainFestivalorganiserDivadelnáNitraAssociationisfocusedoninternationalculturalexchange.TheAssociationwasapartneroraninitiatorandaleaderofmanynotedprojects,f.e.FestivalintransitionF.I.T.,ParallelLives-25thCenturythroughtheEyesofSecretPolice.Ourintentiontocreateinternationalprojectswillcontinuealsoinnextyears.TheAssociationisstartingtopreparetheprojectwhichwillbepresentedattheFestivalin2018and2019.ThemainthemeisFundamentals-discoveringofbasevalues.

PerifericoFestivalisorganizedeachyearinadifferentlocation,andapeculiarfeatureofthefestivalisthatittakesplaceinnon-theatricalandunusualurbanspacesofthecity,blightedareasorpublicsiteswhicharenotenhancedwithintheurbanterritory,whoseuseisdiscussedandnegotiatedwithpublicinstitutionsandprivatecitizens,accordingtothespotselected.Everyyear,Amigdalaseeksnew,uncommonandunexpectedlocations,byconductingalongresearchprocesswithintheterritory,throughmeetings,visitsandsitesurveys,ofteninvolvingarchitects,urbanplannersandotherexpertsofthecityaswell.Perifericoisthusanitinerantfestival:itchangesandtransformseveryyearaccordingtothepartnershipsthatAmigdalaestablisheswithinthearea.Intime,wehavehadtheopportunitytoobserveadeepinterestamongtheaudienceforthisworkmodality,whichallowsthecitizenstoenterspaceswhoseaccessisnormallyforbiddenorstronglylimited,aswellastoapproach“forgotten”placesfromanewandunforeseenperspective.
