NICO VAZQUEZ has been the Head Tennis Professional at Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee, MA since 2007. Prior to working at Willowbend he worked at Circulo de Tennis Club in Uruguay and La Costa Club in Mallorca, Spain. A native of Uruguay, where he graduated with a Physical Education degree with a concentration in Personal Training and Nutrition, Nico also received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. In addition to his degrees, Nico is certified by the ITF, USPTA, USPTR, and is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. As a player, Nico was a top 3 player throughout his junior career in Uruguay, a National Champion in the 16’s and 18’s and competed in ITF tournaments worldwide. He was ranked top 100 in the ITF World Rankings. In his college career Nico was nationally ranked #10 in singles and #5 in doubles and named a First Team All- American Player for 3 years.
