Islam means peace acquired by submitting to the will of Allah.Muslims on the other hand are peace loving people and the peacefulcoexistence with Christians and Jews in particular for over thousandyears in Spain and Arab lands (during the golden ages of Islam andnow) in particular and elsewhere is enough testimony to downplay allthis media rhetoric has incriminate Islam and Muslims at large,making Muslims living now, the toughest and most difficult momentsin their lives.

Thanks to a brainwashed or defiled Umar Farouk, Nigeria is now onterrorist nation watch list. I believe is an insult on Nigerian peopleespecially Muslims since they are the most affected and Africa as awhole. If there should be any country on the watch list of USA, itshould be USA itself because all the world renowned and famous actof terrorism have been carried out by USA.

Being on that terrorist nation itself i.e. USA watch list means that,

people could easily be manipulated within Nigeria to constantly bringabout uprising which would give USA more control over the internalaffairs of Nigeria, just to justify that there were correct in addingNigeria to their watch list though most of the terrorism acts in therecorded history of the world for the past 400 hundred years havebeen spearheaded by USA, but they never would call any of thosedastardly acts, terrorism. There is gonna be more brainwashed/defiled people claiming to come from Nigeria and claiming to bemaster minders of some terrorist acts...

How many investors would like to invest in a nation with a lot ofinternal wrangling let alone terrorism when that nation is a typicalblack African country..?

Deep down I dont believe in what USA is saying about the act ofUmar Farouk when you consider the rate at which new scannerswere brought in the market for sale to USA Government and other

countries, but Allah is the disposer of all affairs and thats why thereshould be judgment day to unearth all secret dealings & doings.As Allah said in the Quran:

The Day when their tongues, their hands and their feet will testifyagainst them about all that they did. [And a time will come whenmethods of investigation will become far advanced].

On that Day God will pay them their just due, and they will come toknow that God! He is the Manifest truthQuran 24:24-25...

Nigeria I believe is a key a nation to the development of West Africa& Africa as a whole.

Unfortunately what do we see, political or ideological confrontations,argument or wars always end into religious wars forgetting theinjunction of Allah in the Quran which Allah says that:

On that account, We decreed to the Children of Israel that whoeverkills a human being, unless it be for murder or bloody crimes on theearth, it would be as if he killed all mankind. And whoever saves onelife it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And Ourmessengers came to them with evident truth, yet, even after this,many of them continue to commit excesses in the land.Quran..5:32.

For the fact that the name of children of Israels name was explicitlymentioned does not mean is meant for them alone but is meant for allnation and humanity.

What binds us as humans far outweighs what divides us. First andforemost we all must consider that we are coming from one sourcethat is Allah and that is enough to make us love one another

unconditionally. We may have our religious, political or ideologicalpersuasions, but that should not be a dividing factor but rather aunifying & learning factor

Consider a world where all of us are blacks, one religion, one culture,etc. how would be the state of the world be? I will answer you, itwould be the most boring place to be because there would no be

anything to learn from anyone since we are all the same and nomotivating factor to learn culture, but diversity always should bringmaturity in us and not childishness as we mostly portray in oursociety

Due to this injunction, Allah said in the Noble Quran that:

O Mankind! We have created you male and female, and have madeyou nations and tribes so that you might (affectionately) come toknow one another. Surely, the most honored among you, in the sightof God, is the one who is best in conduct. God is Knower, AwareQuran49:13

He also said:

(Although this message has been sent down by the Almighty) there isabsolutely no compulsion or coercion in Religion. Whoever rejectsfalse gods (such as the clergy, human authorities) and attainsconviction in God, has grasped the Unbreakable Support. God isHearer, KnowerQuran 2:256...

The basic tenet of Islam is having a good intention and backing it withequally good action, bur incidentally thats not what we see amongsome of our brainwashed or defiled youth. May Allah make it easy forus all to understand and implement the deen as it is supposed to beunderstood and practiced.

Fanaticism does not exist in Islam, and Islam is against those whoare fanatics. The tradition of Islam is meant to be simple, easy to beapplied, realistic and practical. Is lam is built on glad tidings ratherthan warnings.

Muslims are not vocals, radicals, reactionaries, fanatics and fascists.

On the other hand, they are not passive, they are not to beintimidated, dormant, nor are they to accept any injustice inflicted onthem or any other human being. They are not to accept extremespiritual involvement or extreme material indulgence. They areappointed to be a middle nation. Thats why Allah said in the nobleQuran that:

Thus We have made you a Balanced Community that you might bewitnesses to all mankind, and the messenger a witness overyourselves. It is We Who have appointed the Direction that you havenow adopted (O Messenger!) in order to distinguish him who followsthe messenger, from him who turns about on his heels. In fact, it hasbeen a momentous change except for those who follow Godsguidance. It is never Gods purpose to let your faith go to waste. Godis Compassionate and Merciful to all peopleQuran2:143

My little advice for myself and my Muslim youth is to be weary of theplot of the west in provoking us psychologically which they knowwould gear us into doing things that would make Muslim and Islam ingeneral look bad in the eyes of the world.

Other people throughout history have been involved in terrorist actsbut hardly do you hear the media address them with their faith exceptwhen the person is a Muslim.

Their intention is very clear, thats why Allah told us before hand that:

They aim to put out Gods light with their mouths (utterances), butGod has willed to spread His light in all its fullness, however hatefulthis may be to the deniers. He is the One Who has sent forth Hismessenger with the guidance, and the Religion of truth, that He maymake it prevail over all religions (other systems of life) howeverhateful this may be to those who ascribe partners to HimQuran61:8-9

If the religion of Islam had not been under the care and protection ofthe Owner being Allah subhana wata Allah, I bet you it would havebeen an obsolete religion by now.

As journalist the ethics of journalism should be held or implemented

to the letter but what we see in our society is just shear conspiracyagainst the common existence of Islam. No doubt people have writtenbooks clamoring for a clash of civilization which is the west againstthe Muslim doing away with the beauty and peaceful coexistencebetween the Muslims and the west giving birth to Europeanrenaissance.

Now the media portrays Islam and Muslims as backward and warmongering people. They still have the guts to repeat one or thegreatest lie in history that Islam was spread by the sword forgettingthat Islam/Muslims ruled Spain and India for more than six (6)hundred years each.

How many years would Muslims have needed to turn the whole ofSpain and India into Muslims?

Every violation of truth is not only a sort of suicide in the liar, but is astab at the health of human society.

STILL, LET THERE BE PEACE IN NIGERIA FOR THEDEVELOPMENT OF WEST AFRICA AND AFRICA AS A WHOLE IFYOU REALLY KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF NIGERIA.....
